Seed List: Kansas edges Gonzaga for No. 1

Dave2015Last I checked, two is still greater than one.  Thus, when evaluating the No. 1 spot on this morning’s Seed List, Kansas edges Gonzaga.  The Jayhawks have neutral-court wins over both Michigan State and Tennessee.  Gonzaga has a that neutral-court win over Duke.  One can argue that Gonzaga’s win is “better,” but in a close call, KU has done a smidgen more.  As a nice consolation prize, the Zags sit at No. 2 – ahead of Duke and Nevada.  That would mean your No. 1 seed line would be … Kansas (Midwest), Gonzaga (West), Duke (East) and Nevada (South)

Seed List Update

The biggest climbers are Texas, Texas Tech, Arizona State, and Creighton within the current field, and teams such as Utah State, VCU, and Ole Miss in the Top 100.  Florida, Xavier, and TCU are among those moving in the opposite direction.

Nothing definitive yet, but the first in-season bracket could appear next weekend as we move into December.  Enjoy the rest of your Thanksgiving weekend.
