Bracketology: Baylor, Arizona top overall seeds

Dave2015Ahead of a busy weekend in college hoops, Baylor and Arizona lead the latest Field of 68.  The other No. 1 seeds this morning: Duke and Purdue.  Unbeaten Iowa State was also considered for the top line, followed by Gonzaga, Kansas and Xavier.  The Musketeers have a better-than-you-think resume.

Elsewhere, the latest NET ratings love LSU and USC.  At this point, however, high-end wins are lacking.  Villanova has shot it poorly in its past two games and been soundly beaten by Baylor and Creighton.  As a result, the Wildcats are one of this morning’s most notable Seed List drops.

Not surprisingly, the middle and lower-end of the bracket – along with those along the cutline – is jumbled and the difference between teams in miniscule.  Enjoy your weekend!
