Bracketology: Baylor moves back to the top line

Following back-to-back road wins against West Virginia and Oklahoma – combined with Wisconsin’s home loss to Michigan State – the Baylor Bears reclaim their spot on the top line in our latest bracket update.  Baylor is 7-1 against Quad 1 and a perfect 5-0 in road games.

Given BYU’s placement requirements, and a jumble of Big 12 teams in the middle of the bracket, BYU and Texas earn procedural bumps to the 7-line.  While the Committee tries to avoid these types of scenarios, required bracketing principles trumped the true seed list.
