Bracketology: Wait begins for Indiana State

Bracket68TeamLife on the bubble is an arduous and anxiety-filled experience.  When you’re a mid-major like Indiana State those feelings are magnified.  At this point, there’s nothing else ISU can do.  The Sycamores are relegated to watching what unfolds around them, hoping for few if any bid thieves.  If this year’s Selection Committee values analytical metrics, including its own NET ranking system, Indiana State will get a long and worthy look.  If the Committee places more emphasis on tournament-level wins, then ISU could end up on the outside looking in.

Expect daily updates this week – and some seed lines may switch early in the week – helping set the stage for Wednesday through Saturday.  There are some significant matchups early in the Big East, Big 12, SEC, Big Ten and Mountain West tournaments that could play key roles in determine the final few teams in the Field of 68.  Welcome to Championship Week!
