Bracketology: All eyes on the bubble

As we enter the final weekend of the regular season, all eyes turn toward the bubble.  Depending on how far you extend that bubble into this morning’s bracket, there are up to 15 teams with a lot to play for between now and Monday.  This includes such current automatic qualifiers such as Indiana State, Richmond and South Florida.  Beyond the Big 3, the Big East is one big bubble.

Among the teams just out this morning … Iowa hosts Illinois and Providence hosts Connecticut.  Those two results could produce a huge swing along the cutline.  Can Memphis sweep Florida Atlantic – a game both teams might need?  Can Texas AM continue its season-ending momentum?  March is here.  Expect the unexpected.
